Relaxing this Afternoon

I wanna cut my neck out and put my head on my shoulders so food goes directly from my mouth into my belly. It hurts to eat. But, God was good and got me through preaching today without passing out or losing my voice.R7_croup_3

Crossed a new threshold today. I asked one of my buddies, a PhD student in NT to review my message and give me honest (however painful) feedback. I have not read through his notes yet, I do plan to soon, but I knew that I how I feel now (and how I felt after the message) would not be good to help me process the stuff, I’d be completely incoherent. Message will be posted on our church’s sermon index soon, maybe here, we’ll see.

Now, I am just relaxing while all my girls are at AWANA.

    I’m glad the sermon went well. With regard to your sore throat, you need to get a Neti Pot. It’s a thing that aids you in flushing your sinuses with saline solution. You really need the Neti Pot to do it correctly. It’s awesome. It will help you recover sooo much faster. Sore throats are from post-nasal drip, and this should help to alleviate sinus pressure, infection, or whatever it is that’s causing the problem. I got mine from CVS. It takes a couple times of use before it’s comfortable, but once you get used to it, it’s amazing relief.

  3. thanks for the heads up! I did not think I had PND, but perhaps I do! Kara insists (as well as all her friends) that I have strep, I don’t want to go spend $50 for the visit and the meds. I do feel much better today, thankfully. geez, I was miserable!

  4. CVS!!??!?!?!?!!?

    Walgreens sells the same thing called Medi-Rinse….good stuff to do the trick..Mr V is right..but probably what got you sick in the first place was stepping foot into CVS… :) (friendly humor!)

  5. :) CVS is 20 yards from my hosue! but I am feeling much better today, I can actually eat, drank some coffee, its been great, I feel like a new man!
