Today…
OK, so I was not able to get everything done that I had set out to do… what I did get done:
- almost finished the chicken wire
- pulled apart the washing machine and put back together, to find that my repair on the pump was not sufficient, new pump on order (this 1.5 hours bit into my plans pretty good)
- washed the salt from winter from the garage floor
- washed the bugs, dirt and cobwebs from the exterior of the house
- set up and cleaned patio furniture, and the patio itself
- emptied all pots of their dead annuals
- burned excess wood and scraps from basement
- vacuumed and wiped down both cars
- freshly painted the red chair on our stoop
- played soccer with kids for an hour
- played on the swingset for thirty minutes
- had a wonderful meat and potatos dinner with college friends and their great kids
I am tired. I have retired to the leather chair for the night.
