My vocation is working with adults and families. The blog is my online journal, capturing what I read, experience, think about. I am not a "blog activist"... just thinking out loud.

I grew up in the Evangelical Free Church, I am a reformed guy in the Presbyterian Church in America.

The header image is from my sabbatical, during the winter months of 2005 in a cabin in the Northwoods. A place of retreat, rest, study and prayer.
